About BBFD

BBFD offers building blocks to personal, programmatic and organisational development in the humanitarian and development sector as well as UK civil society. BBFD's services foster capable and self assured leaders and practitioners.  BBFD supports safer work places, organisations and communities in the humanitarian and development sector. 


Angie is the director of BBFD Ltd., a qualified coach, accredited facilitator and registered social worker. She says,

"I have worked in the humanitarian and development sector since 2000. My real motivation is people; I love supporting change and nurturing growth. I bring this passion to child protection programming and enabling change in children's lives, to working with leaders to create safer organisations and to capacity sharing, training, facilitation and coaching." 

Coaching & Mentoring

Angie is a highly qualified coach with extensive experience coaching and mentoring practitioners and leaders in the aid and development sector. She has particular interest in coaching women and workers who have experienced workplace bullying or harassment.

Creative, participatory learning spaces support capacity sharing and capacity strengthening. 

Angie is a skilled and experienced facilitator of training and workshops. She designs and facilitates participatory virtual and face-to-face learning events where the emphasis is on celebrating and building on existing knowledge. Angie has particular expertise in safeguarding, child protection programming and strategic planning.

Angie is a skilled and accredited Action Learning Set facilitator. She creates safe virtual and face-to-face spaces for everyone to express emerging ideas and transform these into action. Angie is committed to creating positive change around race, power and privilege.

The care, well-being and protection of children is a global priority. 

Angie is a registered social worker with over 20 years expertise in child protection programming for social service workforce strengthening, case management, gender-based violence and psycho-social support in the humanitarian and development sector. 

Work with BBFD to strengthen child protection programmes through developing strategies, resources and tools, training and workshops.
